By default title and text fields should not be empty or you will get the error mentioned above
Add/Edit categories does not make use of the WYSIWYG editor by design

Can the header be blank? I'd suggest altering the error message to explain that certain text fields (or maybe only the body) must not be blank.

The header CAN be blank. Title and text are the only mandatory fields in the form.
can you post an example of your desired error message???

Since the descriptions of the fields are "Header Text" and "Page Text," I would suggest the message state:

Title and Page Text must not be blank.

OR, change the edit to make sure that AT LEAST ONE of the following is entered:
Header Text
Page Text
Footer Text

The latter would be my preference because it allows formatting flexibility.

if you are referring to problem with mailto links and centered content, that is marked as solved in the forthcoming release of RavenNuke, version 2.30.01

I don't remember Eduardo saying anything about problems with mailto links or centered content. But if mailto links are a problem, just change the mail encode setting to none in includes/fckeditor/fckconfig.js

Eduardo, nukeWYSIWYG has been release as part of RN 2.3 and as a standalone (nukeWYSIWYG 2.6.3). You can use either of these, but you'll need to change the mail encryption setting to none in the includes/fckeditor/fckconfig.js file if you use email addresses in your content.

This setting will be changed to none in the 2.30.01 patch release currently in progress, but you don't need to wait for that.
